Jalapeno Pork Popper Grilled Cheese

Ingredients

1 x Riverview Farms Hot Roast Pork with Crackle

8 x Thick cut slices of bread – Pane di Casa is recommended

50g x Cream cheese

1 x Jalapenos

200g x Grated pizza cheese blend

50g x Butter

Chopping board

Knife

Grill pan/panini machine

Tips/Tricks

When assembling your sandwiches, the butter is supposed to be on the outside of the bread! This helps give a nice golden crispy exterior to the sandwich

If you want your jalapenos to be less spice remove the pith/seeds. A quick easy way to do this is to rub the jalapeno gently on a chopping board before slicing – this releases the seeds so when you cut the slices you have none!

    Slice the bread into 8 thick cut slices

    Butter all the bread *see tips*

    Spread cream cheese on 1 side of 4 of the bread slices

    Top the cream cheese with thinly slices of jalapeno *see tips*

    Place a nice slice of your Riverview Farms Hot Roast pork with Crackle

    Top with grated cheese and the final slice of bread

    Grill using a grill pan/panini machine on medium heat for 2 minutes per side or until crispy
